Justice for Kids®, a division of Kelley Kronenberg, has added Jacob R. Wander as an attorney in its Fort Lauderdale office. Wander will focus on cases involving Personal Injury/ Civil Rights, Foster Care/Disabled Persons Damages, Children’s Rights, and Sexual Assault.

Wander previously interned in two of Kelley Kronenberg’s administrative divisions. Later, he worked as a legal intern with the Justice for Kids Division, where he participated in multiple jury trials that resulted in multi-million dollar verdicts. It was then that he realized his heart and his future was in protecting children and making a difference as the firm expands nationally.

A graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, Wander earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law. While at Nova, he was actively involved with the Nova Law Review, serving first as a Junior Associate and later advancing to the position of Articles Editor. Additionally, Wander was an active member of the Nova Moot Court and the Nova Trial Association, where he gained invaluable litigation skills.

Wander is admitted to practice law in Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Justice for Kids Division is a robust children’s rights and personal injury practice that spans Florida and has expanded into other states including Illinois. The team provides legal services to abused, disabled, and catastrophically injured children harmed in foster care, shelters, residential treatment centers, group homes, and other child welfare settings, as well as all children harmed by the acts of others.
